About us
The core business of H.D. Eckhardt Ges.m.b.H. is the production of retrofit kits for the so-called RingPull closure, which are applicable to all common existing crown corkers. The technology can handle both aluminium and steel closures. Existing systems can be quickly converted from crown cork to Ringpull. For large-scale systems, capacities range across 7 different hopper levels from 9,000 closures/hour to 72,000 closures/hour.
History
Our company was founded in 2000 by Mr Horst-Dieter Eckhardt, and our systems are now successfully operated in over 65 countries. At the beginning of our activities, we were still predominantly active in the German market. However, after a few years we were confronted with the fact that, although there was great demand for retrofit kits, not enough closures were available on the European market, which prevented further expansion. This shortcoming has now been resolved and we will therefore intensify our efforts in the German market again in the future. Our customers include Carlsberg, Yanjing, Anheuser Busch, Asahi Group, Heineken Group, to name just a few prominent ones, but also a great many small and medium-sized enterprises.
